Presents Innovative Technologies at CeBIT 2003 |
Fulfilling its corporate

will announce the first upgradeable DeskNote mobile
desktop computer and a new line of innovative EZ-Buddie
small footprint PCs at CeBIT 2003 in Hannover March
12~19.
In addition to a complete array of groundbreaking
motherboards, ECS will showcase its latest complete
PC systems and savvy peripheral devices in the fair.
ECS's CeBIT 2003 diverse product line includes solutions
for customers ranging from casual computer users
to IT managers to technically aware do-it-yourselfers.

Long known as the 'king of motherboards,' ECS will
spotlight the most complete range of motherboard
solutions ever at CeBIT.
'Star' products include DDR 400 solutions for both
the P4 and AMD CPU supported motherboards. The P4
CPU supported product line includes Intel 865 series,
SiS 648FX, and VIA PT400 chipsets based motherboards.
For AMD CPU supported products, ECS is presenting
VIA K8T400M solution for K8 and SiS 755 for K7.
Featured products also include the Game Union 746
(K7S7AG) and 648 (P4S8AG), a new revolutionary,
high-performance VGA on-board motherboard product
series based on s SiS Xabre Graphics Processing
Unit (GPU).
Delivering an unprecedented combination of fun and
power, new Game Union 648 (P4S8AG) and 746 (K7S7AG)
mainboards are the world's first AGP 8X Graphics
Processing Unit (GPU) onboard platforms for Intel
Pentium 4 and AMD K7 solutions. Embedded with the
Xabre 200 GPU and independent 64MB DDR graphics
memory, Game Union series mainboards successfully
integrate advanced DirectX 8.1 gaming features into
a high performance platform loaded with innovative
features including the DDR 400 system memory, USB
2.0 and IEEE 1394.
To provide convenience and flexibility for users
taking advantage of the dramatic expansion of storage
card usage for music, digital photo, digital video,
PDA data and file sharing, ECS will bundle its 6-in-one
Card Reader with many best selling motherboards.
This card reader reads and writes to any card on
the market today including Secure Digital/ Multi
Media Cards, Compact Flash/ Micro Drive, Memory
Sticks and Smart Media.
New platforms

Further enhancing a burgeoning reputation as a leader
in the design and manufacture of innovative, complete
PC systems that deliver outstanding performance

feature its highly upgradeable DeskNote A980 at
CeBIT along with quiet, cool-running compact and
expandable EZ-Buddie series and performance notebooks.
Building on the success of innovative first generation
DeskNote products that combine powerful features
of a Desktop PC with portability of a notebook,
ECS will introduce its second generation of portable
desktop computers with the launch at CeBit 2003
of the DeskNote A980. The A980??s modular design
allows users to upgrade CPU, memory, display panel,
hard drive, and even VGA to fit their various demands.
Inheriting the convenience and affordability of
its predecessors, the A980 provides outstanding
flexibility for do-it-yourself users who customize
their PCs from the ground up.
ECS's EZ-Buddie is designed to bring the desktop
PC back to desktop while, at the same time, providing
a friendlier input/output interface to accommodate
the ever-increasing array of plug-and-play devices
and applications now available for personal computers.
The small footprint EZ-Buddie line features an onboard
6-in-one Card Reader, noise-free thermal design,
a small, space-saving footprint and exquisite styling.
EZ-Buddie's unique EZ-Watcher system control panel
monitors CPU performance and allows even a general
user with limited knowledge of BIOS tweaking to
adjust the CPU frequency to meet personal requirements
by simply rotating the CPU Tuner. EZ-Watcher also
provides clearly visible gauges that constantly
monitor CPU temperature, system temperature, mainboard
operation, memory, hard drive and CD ROM drive to
catches minor glitches before they become major
problems.

CeBIT, many featured in live demonstrations. Among
