John Baptista
is currently a doctoral student in Information Systems at LSE. Additionally,
he is a teacher in the Masters programme in Information Systems
at LSE and a research officer at the Computer Security Research
Centre.
Prior to joining LSE,
he had extensive experience as an IS project manager dealing with
large and complex projects in financial and governmental organisations
such as Banco Espirito Santo in Portugal and The Conservative Party
in the UK.
His research field is
in the market for trust mechanisms. His publishing is focused on
the use of economic theory in the Information Security field. He
also holds an MSc in IS from the LSE.
